RE/MAX River City Broker/Owner Earns Regional Award

Shami Sandhu Recognized as Broker/Owner of the Year for RE/MAX of Western Canada

 Edmonton, AB February 2012 – RE/MAX of Western Canada presented Shami Sandhu, with the Broker/Owner of the Year Award for the RE/MAX of Western Canada at last week’s annual conference. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding Broker/Owner(s) who demonstrate extraordinary commitment and loyalty to their RE/MAX Associates, employees and clients.

 Shami acquired his RE/MAX brokerage in March 2008 and since that time has proven to be a great leader, mentor and business owner, growing his brokerage over the years, and expanding the presence of RE/MAX throughout the Edmonton area.  As an advocate for continuing education, community service, and nurturing an amazing corporate culture, this young Broker sets a great example for others in his profession.  “Shami is a valued and trusted member of the RE/MAX network and demonstrates daily why he deserves this distinguished recognition,” said Elton Ash, Regional Executive Vice-President. “We’re proud to have Shami as a member of our region and we look forward to the future of RE/MAX River City under the leadership of Shami.

 In addition to this year’s Broker/Owner of the Year Award, Shami has also achieved the Community Service Award in 2010.
