RE/MAX River City Receives Award from Children's Miracle Network
Edmonton, Alberta 15 February, 2010— Even as the housing crisis continues to impact the economy and the real estate market, RE/MAX agents continue to live up to their motto “Outstanding Agents, Outstanding Results®” in their support of Children’s Miracle Network. RE/MAX River City was recognized for being the top contributing office for the Stollery Children’s Hospital for the fourth consecutive time during an exclusive awards event on Saturday, February 13th at the annual RE/MAX Western Canada conference in Edmonton.
The award was presented by John Hartman, Chief International Officer in recognition of RE/MAX River City achieving Top Contributor for the Northern Alberta Area.
“I am so honored to receive this award, on behalf of my office. We are passionate supporters of Children's Miracle Network and are pleased to help the Stollery Children’s Hospital provide local children with the facilities, services and expertise they deserve. It is our privilege to be able to give back to the community where we live and work.”
Since 1992, RE/MAX agents in Western Canada raised over $35 million for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. “Year after year, and despite the challenges that face their industry, RE/MAX agents prove that their compassion for the community defines who they are and how they do business. Through the Miracle Home® program, where donations are made with each real estate transaction, agents’ cumulative efforts enable our network of hospitals to bring expert care to millions of deserving children,” said Scott Burt, president and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network.
